For the first time ever, the Ausiello family’s annual pre-Christmas get-together was held in our cramped NYC apartment this past weekend. Everything went relatively smoothly, until the very end of the day when my sister-in-law Theresa had the bright idea to organize a group photo using the self-timer on her digital camera. Luckily, my partner Kit had the foresight to set up his video camera to capture all of the action. But it’s what he did with the footage that was truly genius.

That was a really funny clip, especially the intro. I also loved how sullen you looked Mike apart from when the camera flashed. Like a true Top Model you know when to turn it on. Tyra would be proud!!

That was the funniest/cutiest thing that I have seen in a long time. Kit was truly brilliant to edit it like that with the music to go along. How did the picture finally turn out?

More importantly, is that the FAMOUS Aunt Joan, next to Kit. She is so sweet trying to get you to cheer up.
I did notice that Kit and the Sisters did a lot of cleaning, but I guess you were out of frame???

My husband and I have a blast doing our family picture with a toddler and dog (cat is photo shopped in later)…..his work is in video production but we never thought of tapping it like that…..very cute.
